We are looking for an enthusiastic Training and Development Advisor with great energy and drive, to join our growing project team at Wellington.About the Role The Training and Development Advisor is responsible for implementing and leading the training outcomes for our Wellington Project. The key purpose of the position is to connect and increase opportunities through employment, training and implementing innovations with a focus on underrepresented groups including youth, Maori, and Pasifika. Create, coordinate, and manage a programme within each project to drive training outcomes on sites Increase and lead apprenticeship programmes Work closely with the project Stakeholder Advisor to identify employment and engagement opportunities with schools, trade and tertiary institutions including the NZQA scheme. Work closely with the National Learning and Development Co-ordinator to drive sustainable learning outcomes for the apprentices. Develop and execute a comprehension training matrix for the project Work closely with supervisors to identify training opportunities and gaps for trainees to enter the workforce. What You'll Need Experience/understanding in civil infrastructure Experience in a learning and development role including apprenticeship programmes Programme management (lead and implemented) Ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the company Self-managed and can take initiative Cultural competence in a wide range of settings Working in and creating diverse and inclusive environment Don't tick all the boxes but you're still excited about this opportunity?
