Te Turanga | About the role:The Training Advisor is responsible for providing guidance to Site Training Coordinators and supporting them in their roles by delivering key training initiatives and expertise, which create a consistent approach to learning.This role shapes the L&D strategies of Silver Fern Farms and delivers on them by implementing these strategies with Training Coordinators at sites, ensuring that our training efforts contribute to organisational growth, employee development, and our overall success. The Training Advisor travels on a regular schedule to visit sites in the network, as well as additionally as required when sites have an increase in training requirements.Day to day, this position trains our Site Training Coordinators on how to deliver complex learning solutions, administers our Learning Management System, and coordinates training & development approaches to meet legislative and customer requirements (MPI, Health & Safety, EU audits etc.)This role, done well, means Silver Fern Farms' employees are able to do their work safely and with confidence.We are ideally looking for someone who is based in the North Island; however, we're also open to considering applicants based in other locations if they are the right person.Ou Pukenga | About You:You're a lifelong learner, an advocate for best practice, hands-on, and have deep experience in L&D/training. You'll be driven by seeing your partnerships with site-based Training Coordinators succeed and have an ambition to build their reputation as "training experts."Additionally, you will develop procedures and processes that embed training best-practices into our systems, methods, and processes.Other Key Attributes & Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 5 – 6 years industry experience in a Training or L&D role.Broad-based experience of learning and development practices with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing/production/primary industry environment.Computer literacy - proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), databases, and Learning Management Systems.Ability to build and maintain effective communication channels across the business and with key stakeholders.Full driver's licence – regular travel is required, as such, driving may be too.Autonomous, driven, and ambitious as key core traits.Te Ahurea | Why work at Silver Fern Farms?At Silver Fern Farms, we're all about Creating Goodness from the Farms the World Needs.
