We have an exciting opportunity for an equally passionate Training Advisor to help us achieve this.As a Training Advisor, you will be a vital part of our Workforce Development Group, supporting our learners and their employers through their training programmes across Northland/Whangarei.Leveraging your automotive industry knowledge or background, you'll be responsible for promoting, implementing, co-ordinating and monitoring training arrangements, providing pastoral care, and ensuring our apprentices and employers are equipped for success.This is a highly rewarding role; a commitment to see learners achieve is paramount to your job satisfaction.Required Skills & Experience:Proven experience in case or account management and meeting the needs of clients.Exemplary communication and relationship building skills.An understanding of coaching and mentoring.A commitment to improving opportunities for people to access on-the-job training, including under-represented groups.A commitment to equity and giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.The ability to work flexible hours.Excellent administrative, organisational, and computer skills.An affinity for the automotive trades and established networks across MITO's industries and regulatory bodies would be an added bonus!This role involves frequent travel, with occasional overnight stays where required, so flexibility and a current, clean full NZ Drivers License is a must!Apply:We will be shortlisting applications as they are received and therefore encourage early applications!To be considered for this position you must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.MITO serves diverse and dynamic industries, and we take the wellbeing and safety of our people very seriously.
