Job Description
Trainer – Permanent, Full Time, based in Auckland
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Role
As a Trainer, you'll play a key role in enabling our people to succeed through delivery of nationally consistent learning to the highest standard, reflecting best practice, including:
Facilitation of approved group, one-on-one and 'just-in-time' operational training programmes and initiatives to agreed standards and learning pathways for OSD business groups
Providing face-to-face, remote, and digital learning support
Creating learning environments for participants that are conducive to learning and reflect adult learning principles
Conducting in-course and post-course evaluation activities
Supporting the development of resources for managers and staff
Assisting with the development of structure, policy, processes and support mechanisms that will achieve the best results for training and facilitation in the workplace
Critical analysis of data and reporting requirements.
As part of the OSD Learning Delivery team, Trainers will work collaboratively with learning designers and Technical Coaches to ensure consistency in learning products, delivery experiences and seamless support for learning. Some travel will be required.

You will need to be a self-starter who can manage your own workload, easily switch from one priority to the next, and learn from reflective practice.
To be successful in these roles, you will ideally have:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience and a commitment to ongoing professional development
Proven work experience in development and delivery of operational training and facilitation in a similar role
Experience in supporting managers and staff with on-the-job learning responsibilities
Experience multi-tasking, prioritising work and meeting deadlines
A working knowledge of the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and the implications of these for the work of Te Tahu o te Ture – Ministry of Justice

The Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) Learning and Development team provides operational learning for all OSD business groups (Courts and Tribunals, National Service Delivery, Senior Courts and Commissioning and Service Improvement) across NZ.

Utu a-tau/Salary
The salary band for this role is $72,634 – $100,846.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $93,591 based on skills and experience.
