Do you want a gateway into global markets and investment banking?
We are looking for a motivated and curious graduate with an appropriate university qualification in finance, economics, engineering or IT.
You will be working in a high performing team at one of the world's leading global investment banks helping institutional clients trade cash equities in NZ & Australia.
Your role will involve you learning how to:
execute cash equities orders for institutional clients including the use of algorithms
proactively keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities
understand local and global investment themes and apply them in live markets
develop and maintain client relationships
manage a broad range of trading, operational and compliance risks
These are key foundational skills to advance your career in finance.
Your team
You will be working within the New Zealand cash equities business on the execution desk trading for domestic and international clients, as well as liaising and assisting internal staff.
Your expertise
appropriate university qualification in finance, economics, engineering or IT
attention to detail
enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop skills
base level of knowledge in economics and financial markets
clear communication skills
data analysis and/or coding experience would be welcomed
