After Kevin retired in 2023, Mike Read took over the reigns as General Manager and a team of 12 passionate and committed crew.

About the role
As a Radio Technician, your job will include both in-shop and field installations of equipment from leading manufacturers including Tait and Hytera. You will be responsible for providing quality work and excellent customer service, installing two-way radios and auto electrical accessories.
If you have an interest in radio, electronics, auto-electrical or vehicles you may be just who we are looking for. For the right person Dove Communications may be able to offer a Radio Technician apprenticeship.
About you Our ideal candidate will offer:
NCEA level 2 or equivalent including Maths, English and PhysicsTeachability and willingness to learn.Ability to show initiative.Practical, hands-on attitude and used to working with hand and power tools.Able to pull things apart, without breaking them, AND put them back together again.Basic understanding of electrical principles.Sometimes we work up high. So a fear of heights is not ideal.Ownership mindset. You need to take responsibility for delivering great outcomes for our customers.The ability to work independently.The ability to diagnose problems is required as this role involves attending to faults.NZ Driver's LicenseReady to begin your career?
