Trainee/Phlebotomist – Invercargill Job In New Zealand

Awanui Labs are seeking for Trainee/Phlebotomist-Invercargill to join their team in Invercargill Central, Southland ,New Zealand. Awanui Labs Invercargill (SCL) offers an important service to the community, and patient services department plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth collection and processing of samples for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate must holds a qualified medical laboratory technician (QMLT) in Phlebotomy qualification. This is a 12 months part-time position, candidate have ability to work 40 hours per week. It offers a competitive salary packages $70,970 to $73,941 per year. For this position, candidate have ability to handle contained specimens including human blood and tissues.
Responsibilities for Trainee/Phlebotomist – Invercargill:

Candidate is responsible for preparing specimens for transportation involves ensuring proper packaging and documentation for safe delivery to the laboratory.
To provide professional customer service entails effectively communicating with patients and healthcare professionals to address inquiries and concerns.
Acting as a connection entails facilitating effective communication and coordination between healthcare professionals, patients, and the laboratory.
Candidate is responsible to provide high-quality care to patients.

Qualifications for Trainee / Phlebotomist – Invercargill:

The ideal candidate holds a qualified medical laboratory technician (QMLT) in Phlebotomy qualification.
Ability to support to become a qualified phlebotomy practitioner with the Medical sciences council of New Zealand.
It has ability to accurately follow detailed instructions and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
It must have excellent computer and IT skills.
