Trainee Office Manager - Leadership RoleAbout the roleAs the Office Manager at Uncle Bills Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office in Petone. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the company's administrative functions.What you'll be doingManage and coordinate the administrative activities of the office, including record-keeping and inventory management.Be responsible for the accurate entry of new items into our POS System and the invoicing of the stock and preparation of the packing slips and merchandising tickets.Manage and coordinate the Monthly Flyers from inception to completion.Serve as the main point of contact for our Facebook Page, handling inquiries and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.Health & Safety Management via GOSH Software.Participate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.Payroll – Backup for Owner / Director.Perform various clerical duties, such as data entry, report generation, document control.Collaborate with the management team to identify and implement process improvements.What we're looking forMinimum of 1 year of experience in an office management or administrative role.Experience in the FMCG environment, either on the shop floor or behind the scenes.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.Proficient in the use of office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Outlook Emails.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of office management best practices and procedures.Full Driving Licence.NZ Residency.Full command of the English language, both written and oral.Some experience in logistics or freight forwarding.What we offerOngoing learning and development opportunities to enhance your career and possibility to step up to General Manager's position in the future for the right applicant.Working with a friendly team in a supportive and collaborative work environment.About usUncle Bills Ltd is a NZ owned retail company.
