The Trainee Network Operator is responsible for supporting the Network operational teams ensuring all network assets and infrastructure are operated effectively. Identifying and escalating problems. Undertaking designated operations duties - supervision based on capability. Fault finding and repairs to assets and infrastructure, ability to use equipment to undertake repairs. Working with internal staff, sharing of knowledge and skills. Participating in the On-Call duty operator Roster - supervision based on ability. Contribute to the management of Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Management Systems, while applying these procedures in all aspects of work. All employees are responsible for reporting any problems with the business management system, particularly in relation to the management of occupational health and safety, environment and drinking water. To undertake such general duties as and when required for the effective provision of services to the client. Undertake required regulatory and role specific on the job training. What you'll need to be successful Qualifications: Combination of education, training and industry experience. Experience: Provide hands-on industry experience. Exposure to the water and/or process industry and basic understanding of various water infrastructure technologies and processes is preferable. Proven ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues and contractors. Proven problem solving skills and proposed methodologies. Personal Attributes: Ability to assess and assimilate a wide range of information and consolidate a position or assessment effectively. Persistence and confidence in own judgment and capability. Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, strong analytical skills and focus on quality of work. Results focused team player. High degree of personal integrity.
