We are looking for a qualified MIT to support both the MRI service and general x-ray for the Lakes region. The position is based at Rotorua Hospital, which has a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T Magnet installed in November 2016, with an upgrade to the XA60 platform and DRB in 2024. We are a small MRI team dedicated to providing a supportive working and learning environment.The Department offers a full range of head, body, and musculo-skeletal MR imaging. The General X-Ray Department is fully equipped with Siemens DR & analogue/DR units, as well as Fluoroscopy, Theatre, GE CT, Siemens MRI, and Ultrasound services. The Department has three DR rooms, two DR mobiles, and a Flat Panel C-arm for Theatre.
