Job Description Who are we looking for?
Stevenson is looking for a Trainee Laboratory Technician to join the team in Drury South Auckland and kick start their career in this entry-level role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique Laboratory, which is based at our Drury Quarry.
In this role, you will learn to carry out testing on aggregates, soil, asphalt, concrete, and environmental monitoring.
This is the perfect role for somebody who does not mind getting their hands dirty in an exciting and varied work environment.
No prior experience is necessary, just the right can-do attitude as full training will be provided.
You will be involved in some physically demanding work, so a passion for variety and a good level of physical fitness is a must!
What we need from you A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
Full class 1 licence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Proven ability to work both within a motivated team and individually.
Good level of fitness with the ability to complete manual labour.
Interest in building a career in our Industry.
