In this role, we will provide you with basic water training, as well as being enrolled to complete the NZ Certificate in Water Treatment - it's a great way to kickstart your career in this growth industry and earn while you learn.
In this role you will gain experience in:
Key treatment processes
Process control and monitoring
Quality management requirements
Performing routine water quality and process analysis
Understand the key hazards and safe working practices
It's worth noting that because you will be working with water or wastewater there are certain vaccinations that are mandatory for your health and wellbeing. We will provide you with these before you start in the role.
You don't need to have had any water work experience to get this role. We're looking for people who are:
Hardworking, positive, and flexible
Kean to learn and develop
Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to full time hours
Focused on safety, including being comfortable to speak up
Looking for a rewarding career
What you will need:
To pass Ministry of Justice and a medical, which includes a drug and alcohol test
To expect random drug and alcohol testing
To be eligible to work in New Zealand either as a citizen or resident
A full, clean New Zealand drivers licence
