We seek a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and support our traffic management team across the Tararua district.We offer:Competitive remuneration package + bonus structureCompany VehicleCompany PhoneThis role is integral to our commitment to delivering outstanding service in our operations and driving sustainable growth.As the Traffic Management Operations Manager, you will provide operational leadership to our STMS, TMOs and TCs, focusing on service delivery, compliance and operational excellence.
Your role will involve developing and implementing effective operational management while fostering a collaborative culture across multi-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, anticipating needs and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction.Support managers in enhancing existing business and pursuing new opportunities.Site Oversight & Compliance:Ensuring all traffic management sites adhere to CoPTTM and local council guidelines.Conduct site audits and promptly address any non-compliance.Manage, coach, and mentor your team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional development.Equipment & Vehicle Management:Coordinating vehicle rosters and maintenance and ensuring all traffic management equipment (signs, cones, VMS boards, etc.)
is fully operational.Operational Planning & Scheduling:Creating staff rosters and allocating resources to achieve project deadlines and budget goals.Health & Safety Leadership:Drive a Zero Harm culture, ensuring safety, environmental, and quality standards are prioritised in all operations.If you have a passion for leadership, a collaborative mindset, a strong background in traffic management and leadership, and hold the qualifications and experience listed below, we want to hear from you.Minimum Qualifications:STMS Cat AB PractisingTMP Planning qualification preferred, but not essentialMentorship qualification preferred, but not essentialA tertiary qualification in business management, or equivalent experience, is preferredIn-depth knowledge of the traffic management and construction sectorsStrong leadership qualities that empower and inspire othersHow to Apply:If this sounds like an opportunity for you, contact us at ****** are committed to a safe working environment.
