Direct Traffic: Manage the movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction or work sites to avoid accidents and delays. Monitor and Adjust Traffic Flow: Constantly assess traffic patterns and adjust the control measures as needed to ensure smooth flow and safety. Communicate with Team: Liaise with site supervisors, co-workers, and drivers to ensure effective communication and coordination. Comply with Safety Regulations: Follow all relevant safety standards, traffic laws, and health and safety guidelines to minimize risk. Public Interaction: Provide clear instructions and guidance to drivers, pedestrians, and other road users. Report Incidents: Record and report any accidents, traffic violations, or other incidents that occur in the traffic-controlled area. All applicants must have open NZ work rights.
