Location: Auckland, NZ, 0624 Onsite or Hybrid: OnSite Babcock is looking for Trades Assistants to join the Boilershop team based in Devonport, Auckland. About the role Step into an exciting hands-on role in our welding and fabrication workshop! As a Trade Assistant, you'll work alongside skilled welders and fabricators, helping with tasks that keep projects on track. From preparing metal surfaces and assisting with basic welding to keeping the workspace safe and organized, this role has a great mix of variety and teamwork. Every day brings something new, giving you valuable experience in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude who's interested in building skills and growing within the trades. Our workshop is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork, so you'll be part of a crew that has your back. With regular opportunities for training and learning, you'll gain practical experience in fabrication and welding while being part of a respected company in the field.
