Trade Yard Team Member Part Time - Dunedin

This role involves providing excellent customer service in our Trade Drive-Thru & Timber Yard to both our DIY and trade customers with their timber and trade product purchases.
We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic applicant that has knowledge of the building industry, its products and their applications.

To succeed in this role, you will need: Previous knowledge of building supplies, the timber industry and trade products A natural ability to provide excellent customer service The physical capability to manage manual lifting elements of the role Excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude The ability to work well within a team environment and to work well independently Be responsible for working with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills Safe working practices and be health and safety conscious If you have the ability to engage with our customers, work through their DIY or large-scale projects with them efficiently and be comfortable completing the transaction through to point of sale at the trade counter in a professional manner, then we would love to hear from you.
This role is part time and worked Sunday and Monday, 9.30am - 6pm.
(16hrs per week) Mitre 10 MEGA Dunedin is a drug/alcohol free organisation.
The successful applicants will undergo pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.
