The purpose of this role is to process all enquiries and telephone sales professionally, providing customers, suppliers, and Account Managers the right advice and information in a timely manner.
You will be working closely with customers to improve branch profitability through increased sales, efficient ordering, and developing and nurturing excellent customer and internal relationships.
Daily you will be responsible for: Actioning customer enquiries by phone, email, and face to faceSeeking out value-add solutions for internal and external customersTaking clear briefs from stakeholders on what is to be quoted, and preparing document details as neededDaily and weekly planning with account managers to ensure all opportunities are capturedProviding customers with product advice, quotes, and pricing information as well as tailored solutionsProactive calling of our customers to check on their projects and needsPlaying a vital part in direct sales with customers, getting orders pulled and ready for dispatch, and merchandising and maintaining aisles within the showroomThis is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week.
Working Monday to Friday.
About You: Proven Customer Service and/or Sales ExperienceAdministration experience/background would be suitable for this roleBuilding Industry experience is not a must, but a desire to learn about our products isExcellent time management, ability to work under pressure, and exceptional organisational skillsStrong communication skills, with the ability to pick up the phone and provide tailored solutionsComputer literacy is important; confident user of Excel, however full training will be given on our in-house computer systemsPre-employment checks including references, medical, drug test, and a Criminal background check are required, as well as the legal right to work in NZ indefinitely.
