Trade Qualified Carpenter

We are seeking a Trade Qualified Carpenter on behalf of our client.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you'll work on projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Supervise subcontractors and labourers to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Ensure complience with building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing questions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines and budgets.
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior team members.

ABOUT YOU
- Must have trade qualification in building or carpentry (Certificates)
- Relevant experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Valid Sitesafe/Constructsafe (preferrably but not required).
- Must have valid work visa/resident visa/NZ Citizen
