Trade Marketing Manager

Details of the offer

Bendon Group is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to join their Auckland Based Office. You will work intuitively with the GM of Marketing & Digital, to develop and implement trade marketing strategies to drive in-store sales and convert foot traffic in malls.
As a part of the Marketing and Digital team, you will be supported by a highly collaborative and top performing team to engage an omni-channel approach across Australasia.
We are seeking a self-starter, who is excited to bring their insight of new industry trends, best practices and emerging technology and own the process of implementation.
We value trust in you and your work, so we encourage all creative ideas to be brought to the table. Being a part of the Bendon Group is a modern way of working in a cross-functional manner.
With exciting growth across the Australasian market, we are seeking someone who is excited for the journey. We recognize the importance and benefit of a work-life balance, so we will be continuing to offer the opportunity for all our head office staff to enjoy two days' work from home.
What we can offer you:

Flexibility to suit your life, with the ability to schedule your daily start time within reason.
Summer hours in January and February to enjoy your extracurricular activities.
The ability to purchase leave in advance.
An extra day paid leave to celebrate your birthday.
Opportunity to join the corporate mobile phone plan with unlimited data, calls, and text.

What would you be responsible for?

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling in-store promotions and point-of-sale material.
Leverage digital marketing tools and tactics, including social media, email, and content marketing, to increase brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats and develop effective countermeasures.
Manage relationships with key retailers, mall management, and other strategic partners to optimize in-store presence and maximize promotional opportunities.
Continuously monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and optimization.

What would make you successful?

5+ years' experience within trade marketing, a preference will be given to those from an apparel background or who have worked within mall activations.
A strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including social media, email, and content marketing.
A data and metric driven approach to decision making, with a track record of successfully driving sales and conversions within the physical retail sphere.
A passion for the industry, with interest in current trends, emerging technology and implementing these to our business.
