About the role: Reporting to the General Manager Trade Sales, you'll be responsible for driving sales success and building strong customer relationships across an Auckland-based territory.
You'll identify opportunities to grow revenue, add value to business partnerships, and stay on top of market trends and projects.
As a key player at industry events, you'll combine hands-on relationship management with a focus on increasing market share.
Key responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities by researching and analysing market trends.Establish and grow relationships with clients and prospects, recommending tailored solutions.Maintain client relationships through ongoing support, guidance, and by recommending new opportunities for profit and service improvements.Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities to identify product needs and opportunities.Prepare sales reports, analyse data, and provide key insights to support growth.Attend industry events, workshops, and training to maintain professional and technical knowledge.What we're looking for: 5+ years of account management experience, ideally within the building industry.Proven track record of sales success and customer relationship management.Strong knowledge of building products, including technical specifications.Excellent time management, communication, and IT skills.Commercially minded and solutions focused.What's next?
