To find out more about us and what we do, click here .About the role:As our Trade Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with New Zealand leading builders, housing companies and installers in the Upper South Island region. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee projects from the initial consultation stage with the specification consultant, all the way through to final sale confirmation with the builder. You'll play a key role in proactively managing and nurturing relationships with our existing network of housing companies, builders, and installers to ensure a steady stream of leads and business opportunities.Key Responsibilities include:Managing and growing relationships with New Zealand leading builders, housing companies and installers in the Upper South Island region.Nurture and grow existing trade accounts, ensuring year-on-year growth.Work closely and support the Business Development Manager.Consult, quantify, quote and manage projects through to close.Use our CRM to update project details, enter leads and log customer communications.Spend 1-2 days per week traveling to visit key customers across the Manawatu, Wellington, Tasman, Marlborough, and Canterbury regions.This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.The ideal Person:A quick learner with strong IT skills.Self-motivated, proactive and driven by initiative.Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a growth mindset.Possesses a solid understanding of construction, able to handle practical and technical inquiries from builders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide expert guidance to ensure smooth project progression and successful sales.Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities and a track record of meeting deadlinesHas a passion for Timber and the construction industry.We're passionate about delivering high-quality timber solutions, backed by our integrity, industry knowledge and genuine desire to help our customers succeed.
