Tractor Driver Farm Worker

Highfield Farm is a 2500 Haintensive cropping, vegetable and dairy farm in Canterbury, New Zealand.
Job Opportunity We are looking for an experienced fixed-term farm worker to join our cropping team from Monday, January 6th, 2025, for the summer harvest until approximately March 30th.
Responsibilities General farm work duties will include:
Operating a tractor and auger for loading silos with wheat and barley.
Backing up as a tractor and trailer driver.
Cleaning silos and equipment.
Performing other farm jobs as required.
Location Located between Ashburton, Methven, and Rakaia in Mid-Canterbury. Approximately 1 hour's drive south of Christchurch.
Minimum Requirements Applicants must have:
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa (we cannot sponsor you).
Fluent English speaking skills.
Your own transport.
The ability to work long hours and weekends.
A full NZ driver's license or equivalent international driver's license.
John Deere tractor driving and farm engineering experience.
The ability to work well with others in a team and also independently.
