Tractor And Telehandler Operator

Canstaff / Agstaff / NZ Dairy Careers – Ashburton, South Island Seeking experienced "double threat" that can operate both telehandler and tractors! Work for one of Canterbury's top producers alongside a great team! About the Role You'll work on an arable farm a short drive out of Rakaia that primarily produces seed crops. Our client's farm, equipment, and yards are exceptionally well-maintained, clean, and tidy. Their other staff are a down-to-earth, hard-working bunch proud to be working with one of Canterbury's top producers. Your primary responsibility is to operate a telehandler to stack bins full of crop seeds onto a 32-foot flat deck trailer. You will then operate a tractor to tow the trailer (carrying approx 15 tons) to the paddock and offload the bins... and repeat. You may be required to help with other tasks in the packhouse from time to time. Operate a forklift/telehandler Load and unload crops/seeds Operate a tractor towing a 32-foot trailer with 15 tons loaded Maintain a tidy work environment Operate a tractor for de-stoning paddocks About You You are an experienced, OSH-certified forklift operator with a can-do attitude and you know how to tidy up after yourself. If you have experience working in a packhouse environment, this will be highly beneficial.
