Mo tenei turanga mahi | About the roleThis is a 6-month fixed term contract role, starting in January 2025.As a Tourism Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering our Certificate in Tourism (Aviation, Tourism and Travel) Level 3 course. You will be facilitating learning using existing curriculum and resources to deliver a great student experience and support them achieve their qualification. You will play a key role in helping them progress along their career path as they graduate to becoming the next generation of tourism industry professionals!You don't necessarily need any experience in teaching, we will provide you with comprehensive learning, and support teaching tools to become successful in your trainer role.Ko wai koe | About youProven background in travel/tourism industry - ideally at least 4 years experience including at least 2 years at supervisory level.Diploma or degree in Tourism (or other related field) and/or a background as a flight attendant, advantageous but not essential.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPassionate and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and fostering successTeaching experience advantageous but not a requirementMo matou | About usNew Zealand School of Tourism is the country's largest private tertiary establishment specialising in training programmes for the airline, travel and tourism industries.
