Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Te Anau. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations across our various services, including booking management, enquiry handling and logistics coordination. Key Responsibilities:
Booking Management: Handle reservations and cancellations for Tracknet, Fiordland Cruises and Doubtful Sound Kayaks. Ensure accuracy and timely processing of bookings.
Enquiry Handling: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in-person. Provide detailed information about our services, itineraries, and pricing.
Logistics Coordination: Organize and oversee the logistics involved in daily operations, including coordinating schedules, equipment, and staff requirements.
Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service to ensure guest satisfaction. Address any issues or special requests promptly and professionally.
Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, manage schedules, and assist with reporting and documentation as required.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
Agent Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and other partners. Provide support and information to ensure they can effectively promote and sell our services.
Requirements:
Previous experience in operations, customer service, tourism or a related field preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with booking systems.
Marketing experience advantageous.
A passion for Fiordland's natural beauty and outdoor activities.
