Your Daily Duty: Manage and motivate a team of dedicated tourism guides and educators to deliver exceptional experiences every day Oversee the development and smooth delivery of our unique cultural tours and educational programmes Social media, promotions marketing and relationship building - demonstrate the rich heritage of Matauranga Maori Organise workshops, events, and activities that bring culture to life and leave a lasting impact Ensure all tours and activities are compliant with health and safety protocols, maritime safety, and local regulation Who We're Looking For: Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi's articles and principles: partnership, participation and active protection Experience working in a Kaupapa Maori environment, e.g.
with Mana Whenua, Iwi, or a Maori organisation Passion for inspiring others to embrace Te Ao Maori and Matauranga Maori Demonstrated experience building relationships and managing stakeholders through trust, advocacy, and mana-enhancing ways Expert communication and strong interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to manage contracts, resources, and bookings with ease Detail-oriented, with a knack for planning and execution.
