Tour Guide

Your job would require:   1.      Escorting visitors on sightseeing 2.      Meeting and greeting guests 3.      Controlling and managing visitors in a group 4.      Ensuring the safety of visitors and their belongings 5.      Create and maintain attendance records. 6.      Planning itineraries, arranging schedules as per the activities 7.      Planning, organizing and conducting tours. 8.      Driving visitors to the accommodation following planned itineraries 9.      Arranging entry tickets, purchasing required equipment for guests 10.  Answering guest's inquiries, assisting them with tour literature, as well as explaining to them procedures at tour sites   Candidate requirements:   ·         You need to be a "people person" who thrives in a busy environment. ·         Holds a full class 1 driving licence. ·         Communicate effectively with the clients and to a large group ·         Ability to communicate with our predominantly Indian clients would be an advantage     The successful applicant must be flexible in their work hours, able to work evenings and weekends on a roster basis and willing to stay overnights in different towns in New Zealand.
