Tour Consultant

Key Responsibilities

·        Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Communicate with clients in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner via email, messages, and phone.
·        Exceed Client Expectations: Understand clients' travel needs and recommend the best travel plans.
·        Ensure Smooth Operations: Arrange travel and accommodation bookings with accuracy and efficiency.
·        Provide Comprehensive Travel Information: Offer clients all necessary travel details, including insurance, government regulations, baggage allowances, and clearances.
·        Manage Payments: Process payments accurately.

The successful candidate will have as following:

·        Relevant qualification (NZQA Level 4) or a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
·        Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
·        Proficiency in using computers and booking systems.
·        Strong attention to detail to ensure all travel requirements are met.
·     Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese; deep understanding of both culture and customs. As 80% of our clients being Japanese, and the exceptional customer service is a key requirement of the role, advance level of both Japanese & English is required (written & verbal).
·        A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Terms and conditions:

·        Wage: $29.66 to $32 per hour, dependent on experience.
·        Working Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week.
·        Location: Henderson, Auckland
