While the company is proud of its legacy, it has also identified areas of development and growth both in New Zealand and internationally.The RoleReporting to the Product Development Lead, the Tool CAD Design Engineer will manage tooling design in support of product development projects. This includes new product development as well as incremental product optimization of existing tools and their management. Active, early feedback into product design for manufacture reviews is also a core activity.The PersonThis is an excellent role for an intermediate CAD Designer with experience in injection moulding tool design. Experience with rubber injection moulding design, great problem-solving skills, and an understanding of mechanical and thermal load management is advantageous. It is expected that you will have a tertiary qualification and at least three years of experience in CAD-based injection moulding tool design. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly organized individual and a great communicator with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels of the business.This is a fantastic opportunity with an established, customer-focused company.
