Timber Processing Nightshift Team Leader Are you keen on supervising and training others and ready to take up a Team Leader role? Do you have proven experience in manufacturing, timber processing, or similar? We have an opportunity for you to join our Timber Processing nightshift team and learn what it takes to become a successful Team Leader in our operation.
Tumu Timbers Ltd is a progressive Hawkes Bay timber processing business, locally owned and operated. We are based in Longlands, Hastings.
The shift hours are 3.30pm to 2.30am Monday to Thursday, and 3.30pm to midnight on Fridays with occasional weekend work available to meet seasonal peaks.
You will need to:
Have reasonable mechanical aptitude.
Have the motivation to lead and train others.
Be keen to learn and driven to achieve targets.
Enjoy physical work as some heavy lifting/manual handling is involved.
Have good problem-solving skills and initiative.
Have a proven record of reliability and attendance at work.
Have excellent communication skills and be able to develop rapport with a diverse team.
