Thriving Communities Officer: two year contract Our offices are based in Albany; however, this position is mobile with flexible, remote working.
Northern Region Football is proud to be the most diverse footballing community in New Zealand. We're seeking a passionate community champion driven by the mission of empowering people through football. Focused on South Auckland, you'll collaborate closely with our clubs to make football more inclusive and accessible to the local communities.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside Maori, Asian, and Pasifika communities to enable community-led football opportunities, particularly in South Auckland.
Support identified priority clubs to understand and improve their capacity to be inclusive and connect those clubs with community football providers.
Implement the Football for All programme to support the inclusion, participation, and well-being of refugee and low socio-economic communities to access club environments, where relevant.
Support the implementation of the Health of the Club Network programme.
