Position DescriptionGreat career progressionFixed term one year, Wellington basedHe whakamarama mo te tu ranga | About the role:The Third Officer Engineer is the watchkeeper in the engine room and responsible for maintaining a safe engineering watch.
You'll oversee and assign duties to the Motorman relating to the watch.
When not on watch, you'll carry out maintenance of the ship's machinery, equipment, and structure as directed by the First Officer Engineer.Health and Safety is an important part of how KiwiRail operates.
