You will be able to demonstrate:
Openness to understanding and valuing Te Ao MaoriA commitment to biculturalism and the promise of equity laid down by Te TiritiAn ability to deeply engage, motivate and offer consistent kindnessTrauma capable skills and understandingConsistent attention to safety and wellbeing which underpins all aspects of practice.Able to form strong, positive, trusting relationships with tamariki and whanauSelf-regulation and co-regulation skillsSocial and emotional coaching skillsSkills in restorative practiceObservation and report writing skillsLevel 2, 3 or 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing issued by NZQA; or a qualification that is recognised by the relevant industry training organisation as being equivalent to the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing; or a Teacher aide qualification; or other relevant qualification.Willingness to undertake rostered work hoursWe offer a strong sense of team, good working conditions, a genuine commitment to wellbeing and significant training and professional development opportunities.
