You will be committed to high standards of practice, be well organised and have excellent communication skills. You will be a team player and able to work with a diverse range of people as part of our Perioperative team.It is important that candidates are motivated, flexible, have a level of maturity about them and of course plenty of enthusiasm. Experience working with people in a caring capacity is also essential, whether that experience is gained from within a professional environment, or from caring for children or family members. Our induction includes a two-day training programme to ensure you are fully equipped to under the role as a valuable part of the team. You must have the right to work in New Zealand to apply for this position.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
