About This Role: The Leadership Program Manager & Facilitator reports to the KARL President and works with other KARL Program staff to plan, organize, facilitate, and evaluate Leadership Program seminars, education sessions, and place-based learning opportunities towards stated learning objectives. The Program Manager helps clarify objectives and purposes of seminars and educational sessions, researches and identifies suitable speakers and place-based learning opportunities. The Program Manager will facilitate the delivery of the Leadership Program curriculum in alignment with the KARL President and priorities of the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership, Inc. Board of Directors.
Job Responsibilities: Develop and deliver adult leadership curriculum programming. Plan, organize, and facilitate seminars according to curriculum plan. Facilitate education sessions and place-based learning opportunities. Manage class communication and resources. Participate in development and management of annual budget processes and deliverables. KARL is a part of the International Association of Programs for Agriculture Leadership, a consortium of agricultural and rural leadership development programs in almost 40 U.S. States and Canadian provinces, and several other countries including Australia, New Zealand, and Scotland. What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in organizational development, education, curriculum and instruction, human resources, business, agriculture business or related field. Experience in delivery or facilitation of adult leadership programming and training. Experience in agriculture industries and familiarity with public policy. Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain standard, efficient work processes. Highly motivated and curious; thrives in a highly collaborative environment; ability to help turn high level vision into detailed execution. Excellent verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively present information. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to troubleshoot. Open minded and inclusive mindset; seeks to understand different perspectives, cultures, experiences, and backgrounds. Proficient in MS Office Suite and navigating web-based platforms; such as CANVA, Sign-up Genius, Qualtrics, and other survey systems. Lives within commuting distance of the KARL Program office in Manhattan, KS for weekly or monthly onsite meetings. Other Requirements: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment. Anticipated Hiring Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,686
