The Doctors Richmond - Nurse PractitionerLocated in Sunny Nelson, The Doctors Richmond is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their friendly and supportive team. The Doctors Richmond has an excellent reputation as a Healthcare hub with 23 years of operation and an experienced team of 10 doctors. This is a fully accredited modern facility with consultation rooms, nursing stations, minor surgery and physiotherapy only 10 minutes' drive from Nelson Public Hospital. This role includes an attractive salary package.
Nelson is well known for being the sunniest region in New Zealand, blessed with wonderful beaches, tasty vineyards and framed by snow capped mountains. With three national parks all within an hour, including the renowned Abel Tasman, there are an abundance of activities including hiking, kayaking, skiing, mountain biking and boating.
Supportive and experienced teamIdeally 8-10 sessions per week, though can be flexibleExperience the beautiful Tasman RegionThe Nurse Practitioner is expected to be well versed in all aspects of the provision of patient care. You will need to be able to work autonomously and part of your role will be to conduct physical assessments, diagnose, and treat common conditions, provide screenings, and prescribe medications to our patients. Providing one on one advice to patients means that you will need to be friendly, compassionate and pro-active in management of conditions.
Alongside us, you will have the chance to bring your prior knowledge, skills and experience, to care for our patient database which includes a diverse range of patients in all age brackets. You will receive GP collegial support, work with skilled experienced nurses and administration team and be supported by our Medical Centre Manager.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position rostered between 32 to 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday. There are minimal After Hours requirements, as the whole region participates in a Cooperative After Hours Service.
