Thai Chefs

We are looking for a Thai Chef to join our team.
Requirements Proven experience of at least 3 years in a related field At least an NZ Register Diploma Level 5 qualification in a related field can serve as a substitute for the experience Knowledge of Thai food ingredients Knowledge of Thai food cooking techniques Job Descriptions Develop menus and estimate food and labor costs, while managing food supply orders.
Oversee the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation.
Collaborate with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and front-of-house staff to address food preparation issues.
Demonstrate culinary techniques and provide guidance on cooking procedures.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes.
Communicate and enforce hygiene regulations to ensure compliance.
Select and train kitchen staff as needed.
Implement methods for freezing and preserving food.
Other detail This is a full-time and permanent position Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law You will be working at 552 Blockhouse Bay Road, Blockhouse Bay, Auckland 0600 We are open for Lunch: Monday to Friday 12 pm – 4 pm, and Dinner: Monday to Sunday 5 pm – 9.30 pm.
You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours).
