Mo te turanga - About the roleNga Tapuwae is a multi-year transformation (Change) programme spanning across Customer Experience, People and Culture, Process, Technology & Systems.
As a Test Manager in our Nga Tapuwae Data and Corporate Centre Workstream you'll play a key role in their mission of ensuring the end-to-end test preparation and execution comes together effectively across our workstream. You will act as the conduit between the test discipline and our key stakeholders across the programme and business, ensuring the delivery of successful outcomes, providing regular updates and collaborating to build strong relationships. You will help deliver a great user experience and ensure the quality, performance, stability and reliability of the software applications we deliver.

Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look likeYou'll bring a collaborative approach to the end-to-end testing, ensuring that all teams and stakeholders are engaged in testing and delivering what is required for successful outcomes against the Nga Tapuwae Test Strategy and applied to the Workstream. This includes:
Collaboration with several internal and external stakeholders to understand the impact of testing, and to assist in seeking a resolution to problems to ensure a seamless business and technology experience.Analysis and evaluation of test results and where required respond quickly, including changing, adding, or improving test cases. Acting collaboratively to work through issues and find solutions.Ability to take a risk and impact approach to testing and demonstrate a quality mindset to ensure testing occurs early and often (including test automation).Contributing to and supporting analysis and design activities (for example contribute to acceptance criteria of user stories, participate in design discussions, understand functional and non-functional tests) and ensure the acceptance criteria is "testable".Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring?To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
+5 years of testing experience, ideally with previous Test or Project Management experience, including defect management processes, triage and reporting, in an agile enterprise environment.Proven capability in project planning and scheduling, and ability to set goals, priorities, delegate and meeting deadlines plus an understanding of the progression of test types and the dependency planning required.Thorough knowledge and practical application of the principles of functional and non-functional testing and supporting testers to collaborate with developers.Knowledge of ANZ Test ProcessesSome domain knowledge in Finance preferableExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-managing and a self-starter.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
