This brand-new role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and processes by leading and optimizing our testing function across a programme of initiatives. It will be essential in enhancing our test automation practices, implementing key metrics for performance monitoring, and leading the evolution of our testing framework and processes. Driving the quality and efficiency of our testing teams, our Test Manager will ensure that testing is integrated seamlessly into our delivery process and is aligned with broader business objectives.The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on team development, servant leadership and the creation of a robust, data-driven testing strategy that supports the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.If you thrive in a collaborative, fresh-thinking team and have a 'can do' attitude, then we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesProvide effective servant leadership, guiding and empowering the test team to deliver high-quality outputs while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.Review and redefine Ando's strategic approach to testing, aligning with business objectives and project requirements.Ensure that testing processes are aligned with the overall delivery methodology (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall, etc.) and facilitate timely and accurate test execution.Lead the test automation strategy and ensure its consistent application across projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability.Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on test data insights, industry trends, and feedback from stakeholders.Collaborate with key business stakeholders, product owners, and development leads to understand project requirements and quality expectations.Qualifications and experience5+ years of experience in test management or QA leadership roles.Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools (including test automation).Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Copado, etc.)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, from developers to senior leadership.Knowledge of the insurance lifecycle and experience in an Insurtech environment is also a big plus.Jump in!So when you put a group of people together who all share that thought, you get a truly inclusive, supportive culture and a special group of people.If that sounds like something you'd like to be part of, then Jump In!Your application will include the following questions:What are your work rights in New Zealand?What are your salary expectations?
