Core Responsibilities of the Role Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, the focus of this role is to drive distribution, sales and profitability within a portfolio of existing Grocery and Foodservice accounts. The ideal candidate will be Auckland based with frequent travel around the region.
You will be able to demonstrate strong financial awareness, be results orientated with strong influencing skills and the capability to deliver revenue targets. Grow both AFL's and the customers' business by understanding their objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes. Negotiate supply, pricing and promotions where needed. Your Skills & Experience You might already be an Account Manager with a background gained in FMCG or a sales superstar looking for an exciting opportunity. Successful applicants will need business smarts, organisational skills and be able to develop strong relationships at all levels.
Desired skills: You will be motivated, driven and highly professional. Willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. You will have excellent relationship building skills and this will be reflected in your ability to influence at shop floor and owner/operator level. Self-motivated and able to work to targets, you will be confident both working independently and as part of a wider sales team.
