Turk's Poultry is a family-owned business, processing free-range chicken products, supplying supermarkets, food service and hospitality sectors since 1966.
About the Role As the Territory Manager / Turk's representative, you will be responsible for field-based accounts within, but not limited to the Foodstuffs banner outlets throughout the Auckland region / North Waikato area.
The primary purpose of this position is to drive sales, profit, and distribution growth within the butchery, service deli's, chilled and frozen departments, while ensuring a professional approach.
Being a large geographical territory, early starts and overnight travel may sometimes be required.
Key Areas of Focus Selling and promoting Turk's products to customers within the territory. Achieving sales targets. Managing the in-store promotional programme, ensuring discounts are in line with Turk's guidelines. Notifying outlets daily of any stock issues. Skills and Experience Proven experience in FMCG sales to supermarkets, food service and hospitality. Self-motivated, having excellent organisational, planning and time management skills. Sound financial acumen, negotiating and decision-making skills. Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels, developing and maintaining good business relationships. Flexibility with work hours, having no restrictions on overnight travel within the region. High professional standards of written and verbal language skills. Computer literacy in Microsoft suite. Professional appearance and presentation. A resident of New Zealand. Have a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.
