We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Professional to join their team based in either Central Otago or Southland. This role offers the opportunity to drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and deliver outstanding service to their valued clients. Responsibilities within the role: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the Southland region Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service Present and demonstrate equipment solutions to clients, tailoring proposals to meet their specific needs Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations Requirements for this role: Proven sales experience in the equipment or related industry is highly desirable Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Positive attitude - a go-getter that does not need to be told what to do and can work autonomously A valid and clean driver's license is required The ability to travel 2-3 nights per week for customer visits Day-to-day duties: As a Territory Sales Manager for construction equipment you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service to their clients and growing their market share in Southland.
