All members of our Sales Team have access to a high performance pathway where they receive coaching, training, and guidance to help them develop extensive consultative and solution-based selling skills and techniques, enabling them to develop into very professional Oil Consultants at the head of the Industry.
Role Responsibilities: Consultative and solution-based selling Account management Business and territory development The primary purpose of this role is to service the existing customer base, drive growth, and develop market share.
The territory currently covers parts of Canterbury and the West Coast and will require some out-of-town travel.
You will have some experience in consultative and solution-based selling and you will be good at fostering and developing longstanding relationships from the workshop floor to the CEO.
You will be an experienced salesperson that understands the importance of call planning, prospecting, listening, and managing your time effectively.
You will be confident with technology and utilising sales tools to maximise your success.
Additionally, you will be experienced in writing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing the quoting process through to a conclusion.
You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
Ideally, you would have had some exposure to lubricants, either directly or indirectly, within the Automotive, Commercial, or Industrial sectors we support.
This role will suit an individual that is ambitious and wants to get to the top of their field and is willing to put in the time to develop their skills and knowledge base.

As such, ideally, you will be Christchurch based.
