We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our well-established HVAC team to support the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions demonstrating BDT's commitment to growth and supporting our customer base. You will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the Mitsubishi Electric range of HVAC products with focus on maintaining a high level of contact with key accounts, building strong relationships, and identifying key market opportunities. About You: To be successful in this role you will have some experience managing a sales territory as this is largely an independent role and territory. This is your chance to grow your exceptional sales career. It would be advantageous, but not essential, to have some knowledge of heat pump technology but you will most definitely need exceptional relationship skills that allow you to build rapport and gain trust from people. You will also have: the ability to work in a consultative manner to identify solutions based on end user requirements. sales or customer focused background and be a natural born communicator. strong organisational skills and a knack for problem solving. sharp presentation and take pride in everything you do. Most of all you will have a strong desire to be part a team that promotes and supports an emerging technology with a strong growth plan in place. Applicants must be able to travel throughout the region regularly, have a clean driver's licence and a winning attitude. Preference is for this role to be based at our Tauranga site. However, we are open to candidates being based from somewhere else within the wider BOP or Waikato regions. Qualifications & Experience A minimum of 2-3 years sales or territory management experience is essential with a preference going to candidates who have some heating, cooling or ventilation industry background.
