We're a business inspired to make a difference to individual lives by providing quality, affordable medicines and healthcare products.In New Zealand, we have built a portfolio of brands that are well recognised by Healthcare Professionals in the Prescription medicines market across different therapeutic areas.We are currently seeking an experienced medical sales professional to join our Prescription Sales team, where you will be responsible for promoting Aspen medications and products to new and existing GP and Medical Centre customers throughout the Lower North Island, including Palmerston North/Wanganui, Kapiti Coast, Wairarapa, Hawkes Bay, Wellington and New Plymouth. Reporting to the National Sales Manager Prescription, you will be responsible for ethically and sustainably promoting a diverse portfolio of leading products across various therapeutic areas. Our Prescription Business is known for our innovative approach to business and nimble decision-making. Building positive and quality relationships with our customers, internal team and business partners is something we take pride in.Responsibilities will include: Promoting a range of leading medications to GPs, clinics and health care professionals (including select community pharmacists), in line with sales revenue targetsAttending various trade displays to represent Aspen and its Prescription PortfolioDeveloping, implementing and managing your national Territory Plan utilising relevant Sales analysis toolsPlanning and implementing programs within the territory to create awareness and drive adoptionWorking with Brand and Marketing teams to implement marketing and communication plans and promote Aspen's digital footprintMaintaining the CRM systemTo succeed in this environment you must be self-motivated, pro-active, highly organized and able to work in a collaborative team environment. In addition:A proven track record in medical sales within the prescription field, with experience in building and influencing a network of health care professionalsExperience in developing and executing territory plans resulting in growthExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and create rapport with a variety of peopleTertiary qualifications in a science or nursing discipline highly regardedAspen New Zealand belongs to a global organization, but we are distinctly a New Zealand business, run by Kiwis for Kiwis.
