Our mission is to deliver an unparalleled customer experience through outstanding service, an extensive product range, and a commitment to meeting our customers' every need.About the roleAs a Territory Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sales and maximising the wholesale margin of our exclusive flooring products within our extensive distribution network. You will play a critical role in supporting our company-owned and franchise stores by ensuring that our products are well represented, both in terms of sales and in-store merchandising. Your ability to build strong relationships, provide top-tier customer service, and deliver effective product training will be key to your success in this role. This role covers the South Island and Wellington region; regular travel is required.Key Skills and ResponsibilitiesSales & Margin Maximisation: Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets for our exclusive product range across the Central Warehouse and store network.Customer Support: Deliver outstanding, customer-focused service to all stores, becoming the first point of contact for technical and sales inquiries related to our products.In-Store Merchandising: Ensure all stores have up-to-date and well-positioned point-of-sale materials and product displays.Product Training: Provide comprehensive training to staff and managers on product features, benefits, installation, warranties, and sales techniques.Relationship Management: Liaise with interior designers, group builders, and specifiers to advocate for our products, and regularly update store staff on key sales and product information.Problem Solving: Conduct consumer complaint inspections and assist with product-specific sales strategies, including the focused sale of aged stock.You will havePrevious successful sales history and sales experience is required.Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-centric approach.Knowledge of Flooring products is desirable.A clean, unrestricted Class 1 New Zealand Driver's License.What we offerCompetitive salary, Tools of the trade, and a day off on your birthday!Company vehicle with full personal use.Ongoing training and development opportunities.The opportunity to turn your passion for sales and customer service into tangible success.If you are a motivated and customer-focused sales professional with a passion for the flooring industry, we invite you to apply for this exciting Territory Manager role.
