There is a real focus on continued innovation and growth, which delivers excellent potential for a strong consultative salesperson who can see opportunities.The role:As part of a business committed to sustainable market growth, the role is hugely attractive, crossing building merchant and locksmith channel partners, plus influencers and specific significant end users. You will be calling on an existing network of customers across South Auckland/BOP/Waikato and Coromandel. Expected away time averages 1-2 nights per fortnight. The role would suit someone with knowledge and affinity to the building or hardware sectors. However most important is your passion for uncovering opportunities, a strong desire to create sales growth, commitment to providing great service, and follow through.You:You are an energetic Territory Manager or technical salesperson who thrives on building strong relationships, and has an entrepreneurial eye for opportunitiesYou can point to a track record of sales growth in a Territory Manager role or similar. You demonstrate a strong action orientation, smart use of data to uncover new sales potential, with a sound approach to independently managing your call cycleYou're not afraid to ask for the opportunity, and you demonstrate you can actively build loyal sales relationships. You enjoy a busy work setting and can influence and impart technical knowledge from the ground floor to senior decision makers.Well planned and organised, you are self-managing, results oriented, and demonstrate great initiative.
