We have an incredible opportunity for a Territory Manager to build on our successful customer base across Hawkes Bay & Manawatu region. You will report to the National Sales Manager, Refinish. You will increase sales and deliver maximum profitability by creating value for PPG Distributors, their end-user customers, and Direct OEM accounts in your geographical region.
You can be located anywhere between Napier, Whanganui and Palmerston North.
Responsibilities
Manage customer portfolios, improve sales, and represent PPG products.
Ensure customer confidence through brand, product, and local market knowledge.
Build strategies to create demand, meet sales targets, and achieve KPIs.
Ensure customer visits and call cycles
Monitor the performance of Distributors and Direct accounts against targets and secure new business opportunities for PPG products and services with new and existing customers
Help ensure that PPG meets EH&S regulations by following the guidelines and procedures for safe work practices and educating customers in the safe use of all PPG products
Ensure that PPG is regarded as an expert and market leader in the OEM and Refinish field by continuing to develop and maintain a comprehensive technical and practical knowledge of application techniques and equipment relevant to the total PPG product range and competitor product ranges.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Trade qualification in the Refinish industry is desirable
Practical knowledge and use of PPG products are desirable but not essential
Positive and motivated mindset with a commitment to learning
Customer relationship management and the ability to build strong relationship
