We're looking for a resilient, retail-savvy individual who thrives on driving growth and building strong relationships.
Your proactive mindset will be your secret weapon in making sales and brand building both fun and highly effective!
What your day to day looks like: Monday – Friday, normal business hours Store Visits & Relationship Building – You'll spend a good part of your day visiting key stores like Foodstuffs and Countdown, engaging with store managers and staff to strengthen relationships and ensure product visibility and promotions are on point.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting – You'll review daily sales reports and territory performance metrics, analyzing trends to identify growth opportunities and adjusting strategies to meet revenue and volume targets.
Brand Awareness Initiatives – You'll work closely with marketing teams to implement local campaigns and in-store promotions, making sure your territory is front and center in the market.
Problem-Solving on the Go – Whether it's solving stock issues or troubleshooting unexpected challenges, you'll be the first point of contact for stores, ensuring smooth operations across your territory.
Strategic Planning & Networking – With an eye on both short-term wins and long-term growth, you'll constantly strategise ways to optimise your territory while attending industry events or meetings to keep your pulse on the market.
Your Experience & Knowledge Attitude and Entrepreneurial spirit is ideal.
Experience in negotiation (internal / external influencing) Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years FMCG experience (ideally 3).
Experience in implementing Sales strategies.
Strong FMCG industry knowledge.
High degree of competence in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Innovative, seeks new ways of doing things.
Passionate commitment to quality of work and customer service.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree: A qualification in Business or Marketing, desired, but not required.
Self-starter, creative, practical, with an attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
