Territory Manager Animal Health Be part of a leading, trusted global Animal Health organisation Join a passionate and dedicated team Covering Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Taranaki region As Territory Manager for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty/Taranaki region, you will be responsible for maximising B2B sales of ethical animal health products for Livestock and Companion Animals. Your key market will be Veterinary businesses. What You Will Do Achieve sales targets and activity levels for your assigned territory and products. Develop, implement and monitor territory sales target plans. Build and maintain effective strong business relationships with customers and clients including Veterinarians, Vet Nurses, Veterinary business owners and livestock owners. Collaborate with our team of Technical Advisors to influence customers and assist in delivery of technical messaging to drive sales. Identify customer needs and clearly communicate how our Animal Health products and services can provide solutions. Provide technical and sales training activities to distributors/partners to ensure proper messaging is being transferred to the end user. Monitor competitor activity, developing action plans to counteract within territory. Ensure product complaint investigation, pricing queries, compliance issues and follow up requests are executed appropriately and within required timelines. Provide corporate sales presentations to relevant consumer groups, customers and distributors. Regularly analyse customer data (through our CRM tool and other sources) to assist with territory, customer and pre-call planning, and the identification and targeting of high value customers. What You Must Have Ideally you possess experience in B2B sales, in the Pharma/Animal Health or a similar sector. A good understanding of New Zealand farming practices will be even more critical. You are a self-starter and an efficient time manager, with the confidence to challenge and motivate your customers. You possess: A tertiary qualification in business or science (preferred but not essential). Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The ability to build and positively leverage long term business relationships. The ability to convey technical information in a manner that is easily understood.
